LECTURES & PRACTICE

In 2005 we are planning to make a serial of lectures and debates on archaeology of the Central Balkans, and to present last year research results of excavation to the foreign students. All lectures will be held in English. Also, the literature that is connected to mentioned topics will be available for participants in our field library. We plan every day work with archaeological and anthropological material, micro- and macro- analysis of biological samples, with appropriate devices. Besides of that, we will have workshops on conservation of metal and pottery findings.

The subject of lectures will be:

•  Methodology of archaeological excavation of tumuli,
•  Prehistoric archaeology of the Central Balkans,
•  Classical archaeology of the Central Balkans,
•  Archaeological sites in the vicinity of Valjevo city (results of PSC long-term researches),
•  SSA 2003- Research, problems and results
